We know how hard it is to find time to squeeze in inconvenient classes for CEUs and hours.
We’ve sat through the same classes on repetitive, uninspiring topics that you have. We are educators, too – with over 75 combined years of teaching and administrative experience.
We saw that the process was broken and that there was a better, more convenient, more
effective way for us to get our necessary credits and hours. That’s why the American
Center for Educators was created.
Our goals are simple:
- Make taking courses easy and flexible. Able to fit into the busiest schedule, we will not force
you to take any onsite lectures. Because everything you need is online, you get your credits
and hours wherever and whenever you want: your home, the car, the park – anywhere. The
start date is when you want it to be, the timeline is your own.
-
Offer courses that turn heads. We want you to walk away with practical, usable learnings
on the topics you care most about. At any given moment, we have more than 20 courses in
development. What topics do you want to learn more about – and get credits for? Let us
know here and we’ll do our best to create them and let you know when they’re ready?
-
Serve the needs of both teachers and administrators. Our growing course catalog will
cover everything from Taming the Classroom and Cyberbullying, to FERPA, RTI and more.
We have - or are developing - courses on topics that matter to all educators.
-
Listen to you. This is a new kind of service – one you haven’t seen before. We want to know
how we can better give you what you need. You can help shape our offerings. You can
impact our course catalog. If you would like to share your thoughts, join our advisory board.
We would love to hear your insights on how we can better serve you and your peers across
the country.
-
Grow. We offer accredited CEUs and hours in a growing number of states, and we are working hard to reach every state as quickly as possible. The feedback we’ve received from the many administrators and teachers who have already taken our courses
has convinced us that we have one of the best, most-convenient learning models available.

Why study online?
When done right, there is no better way to sharpen your skills and move your career forward than to take your development classes online. We have tapped into the best the Internet has to offer to bring you a learning environment no physical classroom can match. You’ll get:
- Access to the nation’s most highly-recognized, highly-respected, expert instructors who deliver real-world , practical, usable knowledge – not idle theory
- Relevant topics that are always available to you no matter where you live – your interactive learnings are never compromised by geography
- Dynamic, multimedia presentations and resources that close the door on boring
classroom lectures
- Access to Web resources that further explain and exemplify key points and takeaways
- Downloadable lectures that let you listen when you want, where you want: at home, in the car, on lunch hours, weekends or at night
- Complete control over your learnings. Learn at your pace, not the instructors’: You can always pause your lectures or log off and start again another day … or start and finish an entire learning module in a single day
- A friendly, intuitive, easy-to-use learning platform that guides you through your studies and keeps you connected and on track
Online learning is a very rewarding, professional experience that empowers you and challenges you.
It gives you the chance to enhance your career without disrupting your life. You’ll be connected to the best minds on the most important topics 24/7.
Why schedule your life around your professional development when you can make high-quality professional development bend to your schedule? No car rides, no late nights, no countless hours sitting in an uninspired “classroom.” Just high quality learnings that teachers and administrators from across the country are counting on every day to make them more-effective, better-informed educators – and advance their careers.
The National Constitutional Center (NCC) was established by Congress as an educational
institution with a primary mission of inspiring educators and their students. It is an
independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit organization.
The American Center for Educators extends the NCC’s commitment to providing the highest-quality education to educators – giving teacher and administrators easy, convenient access to relevant, practical professional development.
