  • California – California has no state-mandated professional development requirements. Approval is at the district level.   • Colorado – ACE professional development courses are far more relevant and more immediately usable than the standard college and university courses required by the Colorado Department of Education.   • Illinois – ACE-NCC courses and modules are creditable for Illinois Certificates of Renewal. ACE-NCC courses earn 45 CPDUs (Certified Professional Development Units) and Modules earn 15 CPDUs.

  • Indiana – Indiana educators may take ACE-NCC courses to fulfill the requirements of their professional growth plans.

  • Iowa – Iowa educators have told us that ACE professional development courses are more relevant and more immediately usable than the standard college and university courses they’ve taken.   • Maine – ACE professional development may be eligible to meet the certification renewal requirements of 90 Clock Hours for Maine educators. Courses are valued at 45 Clock Hours and modules at 15 Clock Hours. Many Maine Educators have already received approval to apply our courses to this requirement. One American Center for Educators' course provides 45 clock hours. One learning module provides 15.   • Michigan – he American Center for Educators Online offers Michigan educators the ability to earn State Board Continuing Education Units (SB-CEUs). Each course earns 9 SB-CEUs and each module earns 3 SB-CEUs.List of Michigan-approved courses and Modules.

  • Minnesota – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the Minnesota Legislature requirements of 125 clock hours for renewal of your professional license. Request a syllabus by calling 866-265-6817 and work with your local continuing education committee for clock-hour allocations and approval.

  • Missouri – "Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators earn 45 hours and modules earn 15 hours toward to the following Missouri state criteria: Teachers in their first four years must active 30 hours of professional development over these four years, while those with five or more years experience must achieve 15 hours annually. Principals and Superintendents in their first four years must active 120 hours over these four years, while those with 5 or more years experience must achieve 30 hours annually.   • Montana – ACE-NCC is an approved provider of professional development courses for Montana educators. Courses earn 45 renewal units and modules earn 15 renewal units.

  • New Hampshire – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the New Hampshire state requirements of 75 hours every 3 years for the renewal of your professional license. Many New Hampshire teachers and administrators have received approval to apply our courses to this requirement.   • New Jersey – ACE-NCC courses earn 90 professional development hours and each module earns 30 professional development hours toward requirements for license renewal.

  • New York – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the New York state requirements of 175 hours every 5 years. Many New York teachers and administrators have received approval to apply our courses to this requirement. ACE courses are eligible to earn 45 hours, ACE modules are eligible to earn 15 hours.   • North Carolina – ACE-NCC is an approved provider of professional development courses for educators. Courses earn 4.5 units and modules earn 1.5 units.

  • Ohio – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the Ohio state requirements of 18 CEUs every 5 years. Many Ohio teachers and administrators have received approval to apply our courses to this requirement and have worked them into their professional growth plans.   • Oklahoma – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the Oklahoma state requirements of 75 Professional Development Points every 5 years.   • Pennsylvania – ACE-NCC is an approved provider of Act 48 professional development courses. Courses earn 90 clock hours and modules earn 30 clock hours. We also report Act 48 hours to the Pennsylvania Department of Education for our students.

  • South Carolina – Students are provided documentation upon completion of coursework. Courses earn 90 hours and modules earn 30 hours

  • Tennessee – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the Tennessee's continuing education requirements. Many Tennessee teachers and administrators have received approval to apply our courses to this requirement. ACE courses are eligible to earn 30 points and ACE modules are eligible to earn 15 points.   • Texas – ACE-NCC is an approved provider of Continuing Professional Education hours. Courses earn 90 clock hours and modules earn 30 clock hours.

  • Vermont – ACE-NCC courses and modules are creditable for Vermont re-licensure. ACE-NCC courses earn 3 Professional Development Credits each and modules earn 1 Professional Development Credit each.

  • Virginia – Professional development courses at the American Center for Educators may be used to meet the Virginia's continuing education requirements. Many Virginia teachers and administrators have received approval to apply our courses to this requirement.
